DECENTRALIZED DATA + IDENTITY
At twinds we are developing an open-source toolkit enabling developers of mobile or web apps to employ a self-sovereign identity and data privacy framework, that can rebuild trust in digital services by providing greater transparency, decentralized control, and balancing privacy and data use.
We worked on the first iteration of our SDK and mobile application to bring the benefits of decentralized internet to every user. The challenges are big in terms of situating the user experience as web3 applications require a specific learning curve as well as extra steps in onboarding and recovery of identity. We are creating an identity + data manager that will give the users clarity over how their data is being held online. The first MVP we worked on tackles the problems of onboarding and connecting with services online, a decentralized alternative to the centralized login.
